All testing will take place at our West Des Moines training center.

This is the final step to be listed on the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry and begin working as a Certified Nurse Aide.

• Skills testing is $135 
• Written testing $85
• Payment is due at the time of registration
• 24 hour notice to reschedule 
• No refunds will be issued.

• Skills testing administered by a qualified RN evaluator
• Private, simulated testing environment with required equipment provided
• Direct submission of results to the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry

• 60 question multiple choice exam administered on a computer
• Testers may request questions to be read via headset audio. Requests must be made at the time of registration.
• Testers will have 60 minutes to complete 60 multiple choice questions

• A valid photo ID (state ID, driver’s license, or school-issued ID)
• Professional attire (scrubs or similar)
   

Please arrive 15 minutes early. Late arrivals may not be admitted.

• The CNA test may only be attempted three times per Iowa law
• Both tests must be must be passed within 365 days to be reported to the nurse aide registry.
• All participants are required to sign a confidentiality agreement upon arrival
