Hybrid 21 Day CNA Certification Training | Only 7 Days In-Person | Health Tech Associates

Our hybrid 21-day CNA course is divided into three parts, combining flexible online learning with hands-on training. The course is designed to be completed within 21 days, making it easier to balance your education with work and family life.

Theory: 100% Online • Self-Paced | 30 hours

Complete 30 hours of online coursework at your own pace during the 21-day course. There are no scheduled online class times, so you can study around your work, family, and personal commitments.

Lab: In-Person • West Des Moines | 16 hours

Complete 16 hours of hands-on skills training at our West Des Moines Training Center. Lab attendance is required on the scheduled dates and times posted for your class section.

Clinical: In-Person • Local Nursing Facility | 30 hours

Complete 30 hours of supervised, hands-on clinical experience at a local nursing facility with your class. Health Tech Associates arranges your clinical schedule and location. You will receive your clinical location details during your lab training.

CNA Course Prerequisites

Before registering for the 75-Hour CNA Course, students must:

• Be 16 years of age or older.
• Be able to pass a background check with no disqualifying history related to abuse or assault.
• Complete a TB test before clinical participation. TB testing is available through our office.
• From October through April, receive the flu vaccine or have an approved exemption.
• Meet COVID-19 vaccination requirements or qualify for an exemption. Exemption forms are available through our office.

If you have completed an approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program and are struggling to pass the state test, you may be eligible to register for a practice session with an instructor after your CNA 75 hour course.
